About Oman 3165 expedition
Traveling the coastline by boat offers a unique perspective - not only on the landscape itself but also on the lives of the people who depend on it. Stretching 3,165 km, Oman’s coastline is rich with remarkable features waiting to be explored, and what better way to experience them than by kayak?
This module draws inspiration from a 70-day, carbon-neutral expedition along the Omani coast in a 5-metre boat powered by Mark Evans. Through these lessons, pupils will examine the coastal landscapes observed on the journey and explore how the coastline continues to shape the people who live beside it.
