Small conferences

Our small conferences package includes exclusive use of our spacious Education Centre with modern audio visual equipment, alongside the beautiful Main Hall for networking and refreshments.

Event spaces

  • Our bright and spacious Education Centre is an ideal space to hold conferences, workshops or large meetings. Accommodating up to 100 delegates in a lecture theatre style or up to 60 in cabaret style, the room is well equipped with AV equipment for sessions.
  • The adjoining Main Hall, original to Lowther Lodge and steeped in history and charm, is the perfect setting for delegates to enjoy catering and networking breaks. The room can also accommodate several exhibitor tables depending on your attendee numbers.

We offer a range of hire times to include full day, half day and evening slots of our small conferences package.

Audio and visual

  • The Education Centre includes our standard AV set-up of Panasonic laser projector, lectern with microphone, sound system, laptop and presentation clicker.
  • We can also provide two handheld microphones and two lapel microphones on request.

Catering

Catering for your event can be organised with the Society's exclusive partners Lodge Catering. With decades of experience and knowledge, the team provide a complete service from enquiry through to your event day.

Accessibility

The Education Centre and Main Hall are located on the ground floor. Toilets are located on the first floor, but a ground floor accessible toilet is available. If you have any accessibility requirements, please get in touch with the Venue Hire team or visit our accessibility information page.
